La Paz,the capital of Bolivia.
Bolivia,the poorest country in South America where many most llama and wool products come from,also where MOST coca plantations are grown (legally) in South America for production in other countrie's (such as Peru and Colombia)to be turned into the evil but enjoyable cocain.Unfortunately its having a terrible effect on the rainforest as the high demand from the USA and South America itself for cocain is driving local farmers to clear and destroy the forest in order to grow coca plantations,sad but happening.
Other interesting facts,La Paz is the highest capital city in the world sitting at a whopping 4200 metres,its a hilly city too so every walk leave's yopu gasping for breath no matter how fit you are.On the upside you get pissed really easy.
My other favourite fact about Bolivia is it has 13 different climatic regions,Thats a lot of climate's for a really really small countrie.You can do treks herer and pass from rain forest,to freezing high peaks down to hot humid jungle climate zone's.Crazy,and heaps more crazy stuff here.Like it's not unusual to see a women lift up her big traditional skirt only to squat in the gutter in full veiw of the public,everywhere.Its more excepted here to piss in public than it is to burp and fart,which gets me in a bit of trouble.
The best thing,cheap,cheap, cheap.Coool llama handmade jumpers at about $4 ozzy.
Very wonderfull scenery tho also as it's another country bordering the ande's and the amazonian basin.So far,mi gusta (i like)
